You can get a lot out of a well-designed self-defense class, but the best way to solidify what you learn is by continuing to practice and learn. Unfortunately, there’s a lot of bad information out there on the web.

Most of the “self-defense” videos you’ll find on YouTube are complete garbage—plain and simple. But these aren’t just harmless cat videos we’re talking about. These techniques could mean the difference between life and death, and ingraining bad techniques could put you in harm’s way.

That’s why we’ve put together a home study course to easily reference proven techniques to keep you safe.

Focus Areas

  • We’ll cover the fundamentals of situational awareness, the most important skill for avoiding attacks in the first place.

  • What should you do if someone tries to grab you? We’ll go over techniques to manage keep you safe in the most common scenarios.

  • The worst place to wind up—especially as a woman—is on the ground with your attacker on top of you. We’ll cover how to defend yourself in this worst case scenario.

  • You don’t need to be a pro boxer to learn how to land a blow that can throw your attacker off course. I’ll teach you the basics of using your hands and feet to attack your attacker if need be.

  • Learn to defend yourself if your attacker has a weapon (such as a knife or a gun). Note: this topic area is only available to those who’ve taken fundamentals with me first.

  • While other types of violence against are common, rape is of the utmost concern for many women (with good reason). We’ll cover the most important techniques for preventing rape.

There’s no way to fully prevent bad things from happening, but you can be more prepared to deal with the unthinkable.
